Getting Right with God
Are you tired of living in sin? Have you realized the pain it has caused you and what it has cost you? Maybe you knew God but turned away from Him, and now you just want to run back into the arms of your Heavenly Father! Know this, it is never too late to return to Him. You can always get right with God.
Making God’s Acquaintance
Getting acquainted with God is the first step, but He longs for a personal relationship with you. He has many gifts to give and He wants you to receive them, but you must be a willing recipient. Truthfully, you can only know of Him before receiving His gifts, you cannot truly know Him until you have invited Him into your life.
How do you invite Him into your life? First, know that you do not have to be afraid to come to Him. He has been waiting for you, like a friend anxiously awaiting your call. Also, He already knows your sins, everyone you’ve ever committed or will commit, because nothing can be concealed from Him (Matthew 10:26). Yet, He loves you and wants to be a part of your life, however broken it has become. He is capable of fixing it, and willing to as well!
You must understand the importance of the gift God is offering to you. It is life, everlasting. It is freedom from the sins that have brought you sorrow. He saves and it is not done in response to anything you do, other than asking to be saved and believing He can, will and has saved you. Aside from being of the greatest importance, His gift is also one that requires immediate attention, it is urgent that you receive it!
Don’t waste another moment because you never know what moment might be your last. Take the first step out in faith and watch as God paves your path!
Redeeming Your Free Gift
Are you ready to receive your free gift? All you have to do is go to God in prayer and hand in your sin to redeem it!
- Admit your sins to God. While He knows them, He wants to hear them straight from you
- Be ready to give up those sins and ask God for His help in doing so.
- Believe wholeheartedly that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose afterwards, and in doing so He paid the price for your sins to be forgiven so that you would not receive the wages of them, which is death, but instead receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23)
- Invite Him into your life and trust Him with it. Express your need and desire to have Him reign over it daily and to transform you into the person He desires you to be.
The exact words you say matter not. What matters is where your heart is at when you say those precious words God Himself has longed to hear. The heart must be sincere, the desire for Him and faith in Him must be real.
